WOMENs
self-defence
What Self-Defence Really Starts With:
Self-defence doesn’t usually start with physical techniques. It begins with awareness, confidence, and the ability to set clear boundaries. It’s also about recognising behaviour, trusting your instincts, and setting boundaries EARLY — because many women are harmed by someone they already know.
Learning psychological self-defence helps you:
Recognise uncomfortable or unsafe situations earlier.
Use your voice and body language to set boundaries.
Manage distance and protect your personal space.
Stay calm and make better decisions under pressure.
If a situation ever becomes physical, in training you will learn:
How to break free from grabs and unwanted contact
How to stay safe if someone tries to hold you down
How to use leverage rather than strength
How to escape and get away quickly
How to build real confidence in your body
You can train at your own pace, ask questions, and repeat techniques until they feel natural. Most situations can be prevented with awareness and boundaries. But if someone ignores those boundaries, this is where physical self-defence becomes important.
Available:
ONE-TO-ONE self-defence lessons
Small group sessions (2+ women)
This can be a great way to start if you feel more comfortable learning with a friend, sister, or a small circle you trust. You don’t need to be fit to begin. Many women think they should “get in shape first,” but training is what helps you become stronger, fitter, and more confident over time. We start at a pace that feels right for you.
If there is enough interest from a small group of women, it’s also possible to open a women-only class!
