club etiquette
Respect your training partners
Take care of those you train with. Be mindful of any limitations, injuries, or personal boundaries. If you’re unsure about something, just ask. Mutual care keeps everyone safe and confident on the mats.
Personal hygiene matters
Always come to class clean. Wash your Gi before every class. Keep your fingernails and toenails clipped.
Wash your feet before stepping on the mats.
Good hygiene protects you and your training partners from unnecessary injuries or infections.
Health first
If you are unwell, stay home. Rest and return only when you are symptom-free. This keeps our community safe and strong.
Be punctual
Arrive on time so you can warm up properly and maximize your training.
Mat Etiquette:
Respect everyone on the mats. Foul or abusive language will not be tolerated. Look after your partner, and expect the same in return. Train hard, but train safely. Bowing is optional. If you wish to show respect this way, you are welcome to.
